"Living It Up At The Hotel California"

A new tradition started when I left for college. I go to California every President's Day weekend. So of course, Noel and I flew out to LA for the President's Day/Valentine's Day weekend!! There were a few main highlights from the trip that are worth mentioning.

The Beach + Go Karts = The Most Awesome Valentine's Day Ever!
Since Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays, Noel's family made me heart shaped pancakes. I love heart shaped things...period. After breakfast we headed to the beach to play in the sand, lay in the sun, and check out the tide pools.

Since I get cold so easily, Sean let me borrow one of his sweatshirts to keep me warm.



Later that evening we met up with a bunch of Noel's friends and hit up the go kart track. They had double cars, so Noel drove and I was the passenger. All I can say is that we rocked the socks off of everyone...every time. It was SaWEET!

Santa Monica Pier
On Sunday after church the whole gang drove up to the Santa Monica pier. What a fun place!!!

I got sick every time I got in the car while in Cali...I figured I should prepare myself to get sick on the Carousel





It was such a fun trip. I love traveling, I love California, I love the beach, I love Noel....need I say more?
