Adventure #1: Alice's Birthday
My Miss Alicita's birthday was on July 21st, and since I wasn't able to make it down that week, we decided to celebrate Suzanne style. I've lived with Alice for a year now and I've known her for 4 years, and if there is only one thing I know about her it is that she LOVES Harry Potter....and I mean LOVES. Since I was already going to get her a cake (cause she loves the cake from Albertson's) I decided to step up the awesomeness of it. I photo-shopped Alice's face onto the head of Hermione in a Harry Potter picture and then stuck that sucker on the cake. Needless to say, Alice loved it.
The one and only cake
There is nothing I love more than to see Alice THIS happy.
The next day we hit up Salt Lake City to celebrate Alice being in my life. She had never been to the zoo, so I once again made all her dreams come true. Haha

After an afternoon at the zoo and playing in the sun, we finished the evening off with dinner at Buca di Peppo. I highly recomment this Italian place to anyone...it is so good!
Alice invented this awesome dance to the awesome music that was playing in the restaurant.
Alice, her birthday cake, and her giant candle from Buca.
Adventure #2: Hanging with Heather
Words cannot describe how much fun I have with Heather and she is so hilarious on top of it all. We just spend one afternoon hanging out around Provo and still managed to get ourselves into some mischeif. While at dinner Heather told me a story about a time when she tried breaking a glass bottle on a wall in an alley way, but was unsuccessful. So of course we wanted to try it out again.
We didn't really have any brick walls to smash the bottle on, so we resorted to the curb. I failed at breaking it, but Heather didnt have any problems with it. Since she had failed in the past, we thought maybe it was because the rootbeer bottle she tried breaking in the story was stronger than the bottle we broke on the curb. So naturally we went to the story to buy some rootbeer and try our hand at smashing it on a wall.
The soda ended up exploding all over Heather...but only because her brain stopped working and she couldn't figure out how to work the car door.
Adventure #3: Noel's Graduation from BYU
My little girl is all grown up and graduating college!! Noel's graduation was the whole reason why I ventured down to Utah in the first place. Some of Noel's family and friends were able to come into town from California, so it was just a big party.

My heels were hurting (no surprise) so I had taken them off, but Noel was wanting to take pictures with me by the BYU sign so I figured I should put my shoes back on...but the crosswalk turned faster than I could get my shoes on...so I just ran across with one heel on.
Noel and I at the BYU sign. After this picture she decided she wanted to take a picture of us on either side of the sign...but that wall to get up to the sign is a lot taller than it looks. So I had quite the time getting up there in a skirt and heels...
Noel just laughing at me as a ran through the bushes and tried climbing that stupid wall
HA! but I did it! and this picture is just classicly awesome
