New Years Eve 2011: Salt Lake City

In keeping up with my current New Year's Even tradition, I spent the night in a different city! It just so happened to be the city I'm currently living in, Salt Lake City!! There were some activities going on inside the Salt Palace, but nothing that interested us too much. So, Brian and I spent the night just wandering around and enjoying the night.



We meandered through Temple Square to see all the lights



The Salt Palace was shooting off fireworks at midnight, so we decided to drive up the hill next to the Capitol building to watch them! This was basically our view (These are not pictures I took because my camera was being testy at the time)




We parked the car on the hill, and sat in the back!! It was actually really fun. There was a group of random people that had the same idea that we did, so we all had a fun little mini countdown up on the Capitol hill!!
