Just a Couple of Mormons Doing Mormon Things - The Hill Cumorah Pageant

Once a year a whole bunch of Mormon gather in upstate New York from all over the country (and the world), and the put on the Hill Cumorah Pageant.  The Hill Cumorah Pageant is a huge production that tells the story of the Book of Mormon.  I've heard about it my entire life and since we live only about 5 hours away from the Hill Cumorah, we decided to make the trip up!  It was a pretty big deal.  There were SO many people there, and hundreds of performers!

When we visited Palmyra, NY a few weeks before we didn't get a chance to see the Peter Whitmer Farm.  So before the pageant we took a detour and stopped by for a quick visit.

 It was in this tiny little room that the first general conference was held.

The show was pretty good.  It was WAY better than we had anticipated.  We were shocked at how much they could do with that one stage.  It was definitely worth the drive up!
