Reading Days - Always Full of Surprises

The best part of every semester starts with the reading days. The University gives us 2 days to do nothing by study for finals. I love it....I get permission to stay inside all day...in my sweatpants. Study parties get intense as books and notes are spread out all over the place, and things get crazy because your brain is overloaded with all the information you have been studying for the past 7 hours. This semester we had a few surprises.

First Surprise: Ben and Thayne showed up at my apartment to make us all fruit smoothies!!! Those boys are TOO good to us. I.love.them.

My boys showing off their muscles. Thayne: His arms are about to bust out of that shirt!! Ben: His face...

The boys thought it was a good idea to throw a black jelly bean into the smoothie....Ben had to taste test it first.

Second Surprise: Snow. Mother Nature thought it was a good idea to force us to stay inside and study by pouring 6 inches of now on the ground. Happy Studying

My reaction to the snow as Noel and I were walking up to campus to sell our books back.

It was a lot of snow...

Since it had rained the entire day before it started to snow, the snow was really heavy...it was this car's lucky day...the tree was THAT close to hitting it

Noel had the genius idea of trying to pick this tree up. She said "the laws of physics dictates that if I lift it from the middle, the rest of it will lift itself up." I'm not sure where she got the idea that that idea would work.

Third Surprise: Noel stayed the night at my apartment. Noel slept on the couch and I slept on the floor...since I prefer that. Well I crashed on the floor and happened to pick the one spot that was wet (Alice spilled water and didn't tell anyone). Not sure how I managed it, but I found the water by simple Barrand luck.

"OH Great"
