Sundance Film Festival

Movies, movies, and more movies. Two weeks where Park City, Utah is packed full of people from all over the world (including movie stars) that come to see as many movies as they can. Alice and I decided to make the drive up to Park City, ride the buses around, wait in line and watch movies. I worked during the first weekend of Sundance, so come Monday I hadn't really slept in a few days. While sitting in class on Monday afternoon Alice informs me that EWAN MCGREGOR's movie was premiering that night!! 1) Ewan McGregor is my #1 always and forever, 2) There were about 10 movies that were doing their World Premier at the film festival, and most of the time the actors were at those premiers. How could I possibly turn down the opportunity to see Ewan McGregor?!?! So after sleeping for about an hour, I drove to Provo, picked up Alice and we headed to Park City to get in the wait list line for Ewan McGregor's movie. That one night we met so many awesome people, and when we went back over the weekend we met even more awesome people. All of the people were so friendly and happy. Everyone was there to have a good time and see good movies. Well there was good news and bad news about that spontaneous Monday evening trip. Bad news - Ewan McGregor wasn't there! For whatever reason he couldn't make it. It is probably for the better though, because I don't think I would have been able to breathe being in the same room as that beautiful, BEAUTIFUL man. Good news - We were lucky enough to get into the theater to see the movie. The movie we saw was called Perfect Sense. Everything about the movie was beautiful. The basic story line is that a chef and a scientist fall in love during an epidemic which causes people to lose their senses, one by one. It had a message that no matter what is happening, life goes on and love is always there.

I was really excited....for EWAN MCGREGOR!

On our way! Alice found my flashlight...
