Our First Visitors!!

After only 2 months in Pittsburgh Matthew and Sarah came out to see us. They had some miles they needed to use, and for some reason it was WAY cheaper for them to fly into Philadelphia so that is where our weekend started. We were only in Philadelphia for the day, but we saw a lot of pretty awesome things.

Walking down Market Street

Visiting Christ Church - basically every important Founding Father rented a pew at this church. This was George Washington's pew.

The church was so beautiful

We went and found where Benjamin Franklin was buried. This is his grave. And, of course, Brian found a Washburn buried in the graveyard

Hanging out in front of Independence Hall

Prancercising in front of Independence Hall - Sarah showed me a hilarious video of an old lady prancercising, so Brian and I owned it the whole trip.

These are the types of people you see at the visitor center...

A baseball with all the American presidents? If that isn't America, then I don't know what is!

Inside Independence Hall - The courtroom side

THE room where America was born!

Yup, we are related.

America's Birthplace! The Declaration of Independence AND the Constitution were signed in this room. USA! USA!

The Liberty Bell

Reference, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia - "The Gang Cracks The Liberty Bell" - Watch it, love it.

Eating my first Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich in Philly!

Enjoying a Philly Cheese Steak!

Owning the Philly Cheese Steak.

After seeing the sites in Philadelphia we got on the road home to Pittsburgh, but decided to take a little detour to Hershey!
The street lights are Kisses!

We made it to Hershey!

Matthew and Mr. Hershey share the same birthday

Walking into the chocolate factory

Getting on the factory ride! Sarah and I are excited!

Sarah was all about these singing cows! Their song was so happy and all about chocolate

Sarah is just dancing her little heart out!

Brian and I on the little factory ride!

A little glimpse of the ride!

Brian was SUPER excited to be learning all about chocolate. This picture cracks me up every time I see it!

The fancy floor at Hershey

We love it here!!!

Prancercising like a boss

Once we made it home to Pittsburgh and rested up we took a little tour of the city, but stopped by to see part of a Pitt football game so that Matt and Sarah could see a professional football stadium.
The super fancy Heinz ketchup bottles. I love them....cause I'm a Barrand

Matt and Sarah with a view of the city from Heinz field.

Point Park Fountain view from the Ducky Tour. This fountain has been closed for like 7 years and just barely reopened.

On the Ducky tour checking out the city!

Matt and Sarah's trip concluded with Sarah finding her new favorite milkshake from Burgatory...she was ALL about it. Drank Matthew's and then ordered her own. It was the perfected ending to a great weekend!
