"Virginia May Be For Lovers, but Pennsylvania has Intercourse" - Our FIRST Anniversary!

We did it!! We made it through a very busy and eventful first year of marriage! Yay for us! To celebrate, Brian took me to Amish country!! We stayed that the cutest little bed and breakfast in a small town named Intercourse.  I put Brian in charge of planning our anniversary trip, and he picked Intercourse, PA. It is funny, but also fitting considering the celebration.  We were only there one night, but that was plenty of time to explore the countryside!

There were two things we wanted to do while visiting Amish Country. 1) Take a buggy ride.  2) Eat some Amish food. And that is exactly what we did!!

Our buggy ride was so great!!  It was about 30 minutes long, and I learned so much about the Amish people.  Plus, our Amish tour guide was so funny!

 I ate SO much...I had the biggest food baby ever!

If he could have, Brian would have stayed all night to eat and eat and eat!!

We had such a great time! It was the perfect way to spend our anniversary!! I can't wait to celebrate more and more anniversaries with this guy!

Our weekend wasn't over yet!! On our way back to Pittsburgh, we stopped and spent the afternoon in Gettysburg!

 Each state that had men that fought at Gettysburg has a state monument.  This happens to be Pennsylvania's monument.  It is huge!

However, some people question the exact spot where the address was given...so it may or may not have been given where the flag is standing.
