There were two things we wanted to do while visiting Amish Country. 1) Take a buggy ride. 2) Eat some Amish food. And that is exactly what we did!!
Our buggy ride was so great!! It was about 30 minutes long, and I learned so much about the Amish people. Plus, our Amish tour guide was so funny!
This is where we ate Amish food. It was like the Golden Coral....only 10 times bigger!! Brian was so excited to eat.
I ate SO much...I had the biggest food baby ever!
If he could have, Brian would have stayed all night to eat and eat and eat!!
We had such a great time! It was the perfect way to spend our anniversary!! I can't wait to celebrate more and more anniversaries with this guy!
Our weekend wasn't over yet!! On our way back to Pittsburgh, we stopped and spent the afternoon in Gettysburg!
Me and my babe just hanging out with Abe
Cannon....it may or may not be real
Looking out over the battlefields of Gettysburg
Each state that had men that fought at Gettysburg has a state monument. This happens to be Pennsylvania's monument. It is huge!
The spot where Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address
However, some people question the exact spot where the address was given...so it may or may not have been given where the flag is standing.
