Niagara Falls:
Well, this is pretty much all the American side has to
offer...a giant shopping center
The falls on the left are the American Falls and the falls straight ahead in the distance are Niagara Falls. Also, so the left you can see that the Canadian side has WAY more things to do.
On the viewing balcony!
Getting ready for the Maid of the Mist Boat tour!
Our ponchos were pretty sweet. They were the prettiest AMERICAN blue ever!!
Boats leaving from the Canadian side had red ponchos
On the Maid of the Mist! The American Falls are behind us
You can't tell but Niagara Falls is right behind me. There is a reason the call it the Maid of the MIST....there is so much mist from the falls that is literally rains on you! You can't even see the falls when you are on the water!
After the boat tour we walked up next to the American Falls
Niagara State Park offers free wifi! If that isn't American,
then I don't know what is
Palmyra, New York:
Since Brian's Ironman wasn't until Sunday, we took our time getting to Syracuse. After Niagara Falls we stopped in Palmyra, New York to visit some historical Mormon Church sites.
The Hill Cumorah:

The monument on top of the Hill Cumorah. So beautiful

In just one week this field will be backed full of people (3000 people) to
watch the annual Hill Cumorah pageant!
Things are already being set up for the pageant
The Smith Family Farm and the Sacred Grove:
We had an awesome tour of the Smith Family farm! All the sister missionaries that we met on our trip were great.
The field were the Smith's would plant their crops, the sacred grove
is just beyond the field.
Cute little house garden they have going
Standing the the upstairs of the Smith House. This is the place where the

Palmyra Temple:
I didn't even know that Palmyra had a temple! It is tiny and beautiful! All the windows are etched with trees, just like the Sacred Grove. We spent just a little bit of time walking around the grounds.
Grandin Print Shop:
This is the place where the Book of Mormon was first printed. 5000 copies were originally printed and our tour through this shop showed us exactly how hard printing 5000 copies really was back then.
The original floors of the shop
Standing with an original copy of the Book of Mormon.
The bible is also from the same time period.
Just some pictures from inside the shop. There were about 15 steps that had
to be taken in order to make a book. SO much work.
Ironman Syracuse 70.3:
Brian has done more Ironmans than I can even count! Ok, maybe not that many, but he has done a ton. Here are some pictures I took of him during his Ironman in Syracuse!
Brian being cute and putting on sunscreen like I asked him to
Coming in for the finish!!!
He did it again!!!
He is the best! So athletic!!! Love this guy
We had the best weekend! We saw so much and explored so many new places! We played hard and were exhausted from our trip!! We are really enjoying our time on the east coast.
