Noel and I have decided it is time to pick up some new hobbies. We went rock climbing a couple of weeks ago, and this weeks adventure was snowboarding! I've always wanted to learn how to board, so we just went. We rented some boards and headed up to Sundance for the morning. Considering it was my first time, I think I did pretty dang awesome. First and foremost, I taught myself how to stop. I fell on my butt really hard once and I knew my little toosh couldn't handle that again. We were only up at Sundance for 4 hours but we got some really good runs in. Out of everything that I have tried since I quit swimming, snowboarding is the first thing that I think I really love. I had to by some gloves for the slopes, and Noel kept making fun of me because I bought mittens. She said I looked like a 4 year old, but I LOVE them.
