The Academy Awards

My dear friend Alice is an acting major at BYU, and an amazing actress. I knew if there was one person to watch the Oscars with it would be her. So we planned out our Oscars party! A party is not complete without food and games, and Alice had that all under control! She made us Oscar shaped pancakes and printed out an Oscars ballet for us to fill out. Here is how the game works: We got to choose 1) who we THOUGHT would win and 2) who we WANTED to win. Then when the winner was announced and we got it right, then we got 1 point. If we choice the same nominee for who we thought would win and who we wanted to win, then we got 3 points. When it was all said and done....I WON!!!! It was 18 to 14.5!!! I was pretty happy about it. I would have done better if "Avatar" had won more and "The Hurt Locker" had won less...but we had a good time.

Alice was head for the first half of the Oscars. Then I pulled head when I got 3 points and she only got 1...then it was all down hill for her from there.
