Settling Down in SLC

I've been living in Salt Lake City for about a month now and Noel is finally here!! Once she got her stuff moved into our new apartment we started to think about how we wanted to decorate. We have planned out how we are going to make this apartment our own and it is going to be amazing when it is all done. The biggest thing we decided was the color scheme for the living room. We are going to have black furniture and then add some color to the room with purple and blue pillows and decorations. Purple is not a very popular color so it has been difficult finding pieces that would look good in our apartment. We spent the day searching and searching for that one purple piece that will be the perfect shade to match everything else with. We were at Ross checking out with some blue pillows when we looked across to the return desk and saw a glass, purple bottle. We wanted it, and we got it! We were nervous about traveling with it because it was so important that it didn't break, so we carried it to the car like a little baby and Noel did a great job at st raping into the car.

Our "baby" all snuggled with our new blue pillows!

Noel and I live in Midvale which is just south of Salt Lake, so we are trying to get acquainted with the area and with Salt Lake. We have found gyms to work out in, stores to shop at and a new places to explore. Well we found an awesome park that over looks the whole city. It was beautiful and awesome! We also took a trip down the Trax and wandered around downtown for a bit. It was the first of many adventures to come.

Chillin at our new found park!

Noel put a $20 bill in the machine to pay for our Trax tickets and it gave change...in coins...
