Snow Bird, one of the big ski resorts, hosts Oktoberfest every year and have been doing it for like 50 years, so you know it has gotta be good. Noel, Zarah and I decided to check it out! There were lots of little booths and fun little cut outs to take pictures with. The best part of the day was the Keg Tapping! It took place inside of the main tent, which was huge. Everyone involved in the festival was dressed up, which made it that much better. We sat down at a table and enjoyed some of the entertainment (and food) and waited for the keg tapping, which we had no idea what it was. To our surprise, we sat down in the aisle that the entire keg parade would be marching down. Soon enough they hauled in a huge keg which was followed by a ton of people doing lots of random things. One guy was juggling 5 plastic rings. I was really impressed so I started to cheer for him and then he dropped them all. He turned to me and said, "Harassment from the crowd!" and grabbed me and I joined in on the parade!! As we were walking up to the front, he told me I had to juggle the rings. So we stood in the front as the rest of the people in the parade filed in, but I of course couldn't juggle them. It was so fun! The people were so friendly and fun! I loved it!

My favorite little gingerbread man

Funny how they just HAPPENED to make the exact same face

THE keg

The 3 of us chillin at Oktoberfest!

Traditionally, the mayor of the town taps the keg, which signifies the official start of Oktoberfest and then they do this hilarious little cheer in German. It was fun.

Eating my first Bratwurst....ever. What better place to do it than Oktoberfest!

I was trying to think of part of the cheer they did but the only thing that came to mind was "motorcylce motorcycle, vroom, vroom, vroom".
