Being a Tourist - Pittsburgh Edition

Brian and I have been trying to get to know our new city. So we've been acting like tourists! We went to see the best view of city and took a Ducky Tour!

Going on the Duquesne Incline. Its basically a train car that takes you up the side of the hill.

What. Is. That. Biggest bug I've ever seen.

On the car!

Going up!

View of the city from the top

View of Heinz field

Another great view with the Incline car

There are a lot of historic landmarks in Pittsburgh, and this is one of them

Me and my sweets at the top!

Brian on the car going down!

Loading the ducky (goes on land and water) for our tour of the city!

Bridge covered in hand knitted quilts. They will be there for a month and then donated to the needy in the area.

3 sister bridges, all the exact same. Painted a custom yellow color, Alohmon Yellow. That yellow is only used for the bridges, you can't just buy it in the story even if you ask.

The Carnegie Science Center

The kids all had a chance to drive the ducky boat. So after 3 kids went up, Brian wanted a turn too

He was very interested in what the tour guide was saying

Remains of an old bridge with a statue of Mr. Rogers.

Brian was so proud of himself for driving the ducky boat.

Dinosaurs! A ketchup bottle, an exo- skeleton and a disco dino

Part of one of the most beautiful buildings in Pittsburgh and the world. Made with black reflexive glass.

Me and the Mr in front of the ducky boat.

After our tour we just so happened to be in the right place at the right time. They were premiering a new liquid firework show, which is just a water fountain show with lights and music. The Pirates Parrot was there too!
