New Year's Eve is my favorite holiday and this was the best one yet!! For as long as I can remember I always said that I was going to Times Square for New Year's Eve the first year I was married. Since Brian is the best ever, he took me to New York City!!!
We spent one day touring around New York City! We saw as much as we could! The 9/11 Memorial was sold out for the day, but we got to see everything else!
The first thing we did in New York was get some tiny White Castle burgers
In order to get into New York City we had to go through one of the tunnels, which I didn't even know existed. A huge tunnel that does right under the river.
The Freedom Tower!!
We walked around New York and found ourselves in front of The New York Stock Exchange!
We also accidentally found the famous bull!!
We waited and waited in line to get on the boat to see the Statue of Liberty. After going through some ridiculous security, we finally made it!!
We had to wait in line to get back on the ferry from Liberty Island. By the time we got on the ferry we were nearly frozen to death, so we didn't get off at Ellis Island.
This is 'Merica!!
New Year's Eve had finally arrived!! Around 11am we left our hotel and headed to Times Square. We made a stop to Rockefeller Center to see the famous tree!!
We even found a Debt Counter
Since every cop in the city was out and streets were blocked off, it took us a long time to find the entrance into Time Square. We eventually found it and planted ourselves in our spot to wait 12 hours until the ball dropped!!
We were fully prepared with hand warmers! They basically saved us, because it was cold.
Mom is awesome. She bought us these awesome glasses for our trip!! We rocked them all night!
As midnight got closer and closer, we were given more and more stuff!! Brian got me a hat and a balloon!! I was so happy! He had to fight off a bunch of Asians to get them for me!
The time finally came!!! After 12 long hours!!! All my dreams were coming true!! I was able to see the ball drop!!!

This was probably the best night of my life!! Brian worked so hard to make sure that I was comfortable and happy the whole day!! It was perfect!!
